Scripture Reading Guide | Day Two
WELCOME
Welcome to Day 2 of 5 of our reading plan!
How did yesterday go? Did you use your Bible study tool? Did it help you to understand more?
Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint.
We are working to build a lifelong healthy habit of getting to know God through His Word.
As you are studying, feel free to reach out via email at info@newriver.church and someone will get back with you soon.
And don’t forget to share what God is teaching you in the comment section of our Facebook and Instagram!
Let’s pray and get started!
Dear God, I thank you for giving us the gift of Your Word. Open my eyes as I seek you during this time in scripture. I long to know You, to understand Your ways, and to be transformed from the inside out through the cleansing of your Word.

TODAY’S READING
Colossians 3:5-8 (HCSB)
5 Therefore, put to death what belongs to your worldly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry.
6 Because of these, God’s wrath comes on the disobedient,
7 and you once walked in these things when you were living in them.
8 But now you must also put away all the following: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and filthy language from your mouth.
