Scripture Reading Guide | Day Three

WELCOME

Welcome to Day 3 of 5 of our reading plan!

Are things starting to click? What is God speaking to you?

Today, we encourage you to go back and read through the passages day one and two. The entire reading plan builds on each other so it can be both helpful and important to read each day’s verses in context of the other verses around it!

If you have questions as you are reading and studying, feel free to reach out via email at info@newriver.church and someone will get back with you.

We also invite you to share what God is teaching you in the comment section of our Facebook and Instagram!

Let’s pray and get started!

Dear God, thank you for giving us absolute truth through your Word. Your truth brings freedom. Help me to not only read your word, but to also become a doer of your Word. Strengthen me through your Holy Spirit to stop walking in my old nature, and instead to walk in the new life You’ve given me. Amen.

TODAY’S READING

Colossians 3:9-11 (HCSB)

9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old self with its practices

10 and have put on the new self. You are being renewed in knowledge according to the image of your Creator.

11 In Christ there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free; but Christ is all and in all.
