MUSIC

Music is an essential part of our worship! Our band leads us in several songs for each service. Worship through music is one way we acknowledge and proclaim the truth about who God is and thank Him for all He has done for us.

TEACHING

At New River, you’ll hear about Jesus a lot. Every week, one of our teaching pastors will share a sermon that is centered around God’s Word and how we can apply it to our lives today. Bring your Bible or feel free to use your phone. You can also download the New River App to take notes each week. Don’t have a Bible? No worries! Stop by the Resource Table on Sunday and we’ll give you one!

RESPONSE

After the sermon we take time to respond to God through giving, singing and prayer. This is a time for us to reflect on all that God is speaking to us, demonstrate our trust in God’s provision, and invite the Holy Spirit in to write God’s Word on our hearts while we join together in responsive praise. During this time, if you are in need of prayer, feel free to find one of our leaders along the stage or walls who will be happy to pray with you.

The first step to getting involved at New River is to worship with us on a Sunday. Then, plan to come back for a few weeks to get a sense of what following Jesus looks like within our community.
